How does the process work?

*Place deposit & book consultation appointment.

*Appointments begin February 1st.

*Initial consultation scheduled for 30-45 minutes.

*After first consultation, expect 3 or 4, 2hr appointments to complete the design. These will be schedule one per week, following the first appointment.

*The young designer will work side-by-side with Lucia Jackson, to make their own prom look. This includes design, pattern making, sewing and details!

*All customers paid in full, receive 15% off total design cost.

*All customers paid in full, receive 25% off any supplies used from the Kintimit Inventory.

*The Kintimit Inventory offers, fringe, zippers, beading, sequins, fabric choices and more! All at a portion of retail pricing.

*Supplies not included in pricing, supply balance due at time of design completion.

  • $150 security deposit, subtracted from total.

  • Approx 6-8 hours to completion, $40/hour.

  • Supply Cost Itemized. Retail and/or Kintimit Inventory.

  • Average total cost, $300 plus cost of supplies.

  • Promotions offered to customers who “pay in full” after initial consultation, estimated at 7 hours.

Evening sewing basics

*No sewing experience required.

*Get creative! Choose patterns and details to add to your design! These choices will be specified at registration with a participant survey.

*All items will be made with fleece material, purchased at JoAnn Fabrics or re-purposed from the collection of fabric on hand at The Kintimit Cottage.

*This class is open to all ages & the evening hours are specifically scheduled with your tweens, teens and friend groups in mind!

*Everyone will leave with a basic understanding of pattern making & general construction of garments.

*Inquire about lessons outside of this timeframe.
